Award winning business InGlaze is tackling the challenges of heat loss, condensation and noise in properties through their affordable secondary glazing solution, providing the benefit of warmer homes and workplaces to many.

For us, tackling these issues comes from experiencing those all-too-often cold winter months growing up, where the warmth in a room would be lost to the biting chill of the winds outside coming in through draughty windows. Where towels were placed on the window sills to catch the morning’s dripping condensation, and waking up to ice that had formed on the inside of the freezing window panes.

Fast forward to today and people are still cold in their homes and workplaces. The UK is amongst the highest for energy process in Europe with the poorest insulation. Many homes are rated EPC C or lower, and so are energy inefficient with high running costs.

We don’t believe we should live in a society where people are scared to put the heating on because they don’t know if they will be able to afford to pay their bills. Or where families in fuel poverty are choosing between heating and eating.
