Secondary Glazing Solutions

Secondary glazing solutions for your windows

At InGlaze, we manufacture, in Aberdeen, secondary glazing using 3mm crystal clear acrylic which is attached to the window frame with our patent-pending seal creating an airtight fit.

Suitable for listed buildings, conservation area windows, and heritage window insulation, our acrylic secondary glazing  offers an affordable solution to help insulate even the coldest Aberdeen granite homes!

We manufacture and supply a whole pane secondary glazing system that attaches to the window frame with our adaptative seal that accommodates uneven frames and a push-in system for smaller panes where the acrylic slots inside the frame creating an air gap to reduce heat loss and noise.

We can accommodate all shapes and sizes of windows thanks to our precision measuring equipment and CNC laser processing in our Aberdeen factory.

About InGlaze

Perfect for Scotland's traditional buildings

InGlaze is particularly suited to:

  • Listed buildings and conservation areas — no planning permission required; does not affect the property’s appearance or structure
  • Traditional Aberdeen granite homes — works with uneven, aged window frames
  • Victorian and Georgian sash windows — push-in panes fit standard individual sashes
  • Rented properties — fully removable; no damage, no deposit deductions
  • Commercial properties and churches — including stained glass windows

Two ways to insulate your windows

Push In Panes

A simpler, DIY-friendly option for smaller individual panes such as Georgian sash windows. The acrylic panel slots inside the frame, creating an insulating air gap with no fixings required. Measure at home, order online, and fit yourself.

Whole Pane Secondary Glazing

Our full-frame solution attaches to the window frame using our patent-pending adaptive seal. Suitable for all window shapes and sizes — including arched, stained glass, and irregular heritage frames. Custom-cut at our Aberdeen factory using CNC laser processing.
